During this course you will learn the law around self defense and legally carrying a firearm in Colorado. You will also learn about the laws regarding safe storage and can ask any questions pertaining to gun laws in Colorado. You will learn and be tested on firearm safety and will be challenged on live fire drills appropriate to your skill level to warm up for a shooting test. Upon completion of this class, you will receive a certificate to apply for your Concealed Carry Permit.
We recommend bringing a pistol and 150 rounds of ammunition to match. If you don’t have a gun, you can borrow one, but you will need 150 rounds of 9mm ammo. There is NO AMMO ALLOWED in the classrooms, so please make sure your gun and mags are unloaded. You may also have to fill out some paperwork and pay a range fee with whatever range we are working with on that day.
